According to the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, Africa offers the highest return on direct foreign investment in the world. Its large population and rapid urbanisation offer huge opportunities to investors. The continent has the potential to double its manufacturing output from US$500 billion in 2016 to $930 billion in 2025.
But, investing in Africa remains plagued by uncertainty. Risks include political and social instability, lack of infrastructure and skilled labour, as well as also regulatory barriers. Mitigate these risks and uncertainty, and reward is obtainable!
