We hereby inform the business community and other interested parties that the national minimum wages, by sector of activity, for the year 2023, were approved by the Council of Ministers on 25 April 2023, with effect from April 1, 2023.

 

We present below, in a table format, the minimum wages which were in force throughout the year 2022 and those approved for 2023, by sector of activity.

We would like to remind you that employers may set minimum wages higher than those indicated in the above table. Wages for other professional categories not covered by the adjustment of the minimum wage mentioned here are subject to individual or collective negotiation between employers and employees or their respective trade unions.
